Project

PATH – Promoting Activism Through Hiking

A European project that encourages the active participation of younger generations in decision-making and in activities run by sports associations and federations, especially hiking and trekking.
About the project
This initiative is being carried out together with our partner organisations: Trekkify and Federazione Italiana Escursionismo from Italy, Inovatyvi Karta from Lithuania and the European Ramblers Association from Germany. With this project we want to promote hiking as a sport that improves people’s physical fitness and overall wellbeing, involving young people in hiking-related activities. Involving new generations as key players in associations is essential to bring innovation to the world of hiking, drawing on a youthful approach.
Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.
